Dryer thermostat 3387134, is used on Kenmore, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Roper and other brand dryers. It has a 120v anticipator heater built into the thermostat and has 3/16" terminals.

The anticipator heater is used when a lower temperature is selected on the dryer selector switch such as permanent press. Voltage is applied across the heater causing it to fool the control thermostat and cycle off sooner then normal reducing the drum temperature. |
