5303281153 Dryer Rear Bearing Kit

Dryer rear bearing kit 5303281153, is used on Frigidaire, Kenmore, Kelvinator, Tappan, White-Westinghouse, Gibson, and some GE gas and electric clothes dryers, dryers stacked on top of washers and laundry centers. The kit includes, the mounting shaft, a new bearing, lubricant, and replacement mounting hardware.

 

This is a drum support bearing kit. When it fails, your dryer will have a loud metal to metal screeching sound. Continued use will cause the metal drum support to fail, allowing the drum to drop down destroying the dryer heater. When this bearing fails, you should check your dryer vent for proper airflow. Vent restrictions cause excessive heat inside your dryer and contribute to the premature failure of this bearing.
