5303917628 Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat

This defrost thermostat and can be mounted to the back or side wall next to the evaporator using the included stainless steel mount. Technicians often install this thermostat when excessive door openings or high humidity environments leave a frost buildup on the evaporator at the end of the defrost timer cycle or when concerned that removing the original thermostat attached to the evaporator may cause a refrigerant leak. In that case the technician cuts the wires to the original thermostat and leaves it attached to the evaporator. 

This defrost thermostat opens the circuit to the heater at 50 degrees and closes the circuit to the heater at 20 degrees.
