Common Dishwasher Repairs & Parts Replaced

Commonly replaced dishwasher parts according to Appliance Parts Experts.
Rack Rollers and Wheels. This part fits on to a dish rack and helps it to maneuverer easily and smoothly into and out of the dishwasher. Over time, the wheels or rollers can fall off the rack and become lost or break.

Hoses. A dishwasher has multiple hoses, such as a drain hose, circulating hose and water supply line or fill hose. Over time, the hoses can become clogged or leak from either a loose connection or age and normal usage. Replacing a dishwasher drain hose might fix a dishwasher drainage problem or leak.

Spray Arms. Sprays water and water mixed with detergent during select times during the wash cycle to clean and rinse dishes on the dish rack. Depending on your dishwasher model, there may be an upper and lower spray arm, or just one lower spray arm located at the bottom of the dishwasher. Replacing the spray arms might solve a problem such as dishes not get clean or the dishwasher leaking.
