When it comes to clutter, it seems that every room in the house has some sort of clutter accumulating over time, no matter how big or small. Where should you start? Before starting any sort of decluttering process, make a plan.
When starting a plan, create a list of all the rooms that have clutter in them. Once that is outlined on paper, choose the areas of decluttering that are most important to you.
Now it's time for timing. Plan on when you will be able to tackle each section and how long it could possibly take.
Supplies. Decluttering isn’t just going through items. There is trash, recycling etc. that goes along with this topic. When starting decluttering, have a trash bin, a recycling bin, and even a donation bin, depending on what you may be going through. When done decluttering, make sure to throw all of the items you want to donate right into the back of your car so it doesn’t further create a mess.
