
After every load of laundry you should be cleaning you lint
trap/screen. Over time not cleaning your
lint trap/screen can lead to a number of problems to occur. Make sure to follow
these steps in order to clean your dryer lint trap/screen.
Not cleaning this can cause a fire can occur in your dryer
unit. This film will then block the air flow resulting in the dryer using more
energy to hear the unit which can cause the dryer to burn out sooner or cause a
fire to occur. Cleaning your lint trap/screen after every use will prolong the
life of your dryer unit.

Fill the sink, tub, bucket or whatever you’re
using to clean the lint trap/screen in with hot water. Let the lint trap/screen
soak.

Add soap to the water and mix it around

Remove any loose lint, debris, or particles from
the lint trap/screen. Then use a vaccum to suck up the debris

Place the lint trap back clean hot water and
soak it
5.
Use a brush to remove the residue that can occur
from dryer sheets
6.
Rinse the lint trap/screen frequently until the
residue has been removed
7.
If not satisfied, continue soaking and scrubbing
the lint trap/screen
8.
Rinse completely with warm water
9.
Dry the lint trap/screen with a towel or cloth
10.
Air dry the lint trap/screen before inserting it
back into your dryer unit
