Defrost terminator WR50X60, sometimes called the defrost thermostat is used on GE, Hotpoint and some Sears Kenmore refrigerators.
Defrost terminator kit WR50X60, includes a mounting strap so that it can be attached to the evaporator and another mounting strap so that it can be attached to the wall of the freezer near the evaporator. This defrost terminator opens the circuit to the defrost heater at 60 degrees and closed the circuit to the defrost heater at 40 degrees.
